USからのプログレッシブ・パワーメタル・プロジェクト。2000年から2002年にかけて、じっくり制作されたのでしょうか。その手の実力派の面々が揃っている感があります。参加メンバーは以下の通り(オフィシャルサイトから引用)。
Rick Mythiasin (Steel Prophet) - vocals
Jason Rullo (Symphony X) - drums
Nick van Dyk - lead and rhythm guitars, bass, keyboards
Bernie Versailles (Engine/Order Of The Illuminati) - lead guitar
ゲストはこんな感じ:
Ray Alder (Fates Warning/Engine) - lead vocals on one track, backing vocals on three others
Mark Zonder (Fates Warning/Warlord) - drums on one track
Chris Roy and Joel Decatur of Reading Zero are also helping out on backing vocals
Michael Romeo (Symphony X) fantastic orchestral synth programming・・・
凝った展開の中にも、マイナー調に拘ったスリリングでパワフルなサウンドが特徴。独特な音の展開の中に、はっ!とする可憐なメロディー、パワフルに切れ込んでくるパワーメタルサウンド。DREAM THEATERよりも、もう少しパワーメタル寄りで、メロディーが明確で分かり易いです。
